Simon Marcus has a strong Muay Thai training regimen. Marcus became a professional muay thai fighter in 2009, when he won his 1st professional muay thai titles in Thailand. In the subsequent year by claiming the Thaphae arena lightweight Heavyweight belt and therefore the Northern Thailand light heavyweight strap in 2010. Marcus took notable wins over Filip Verlinden, Kun Khmer legend Eh Phoutong and Japanese Kyokushin stylist Ryuta Noji.
In 2008, he took the Shin Do Kumate title by beating Aaron Meisner at Tampa, Florida. He defeated Aaron by TKO. The fight was full of energy and action. Match started with a strong introduction that lead into a heavy movement fight. By round 2 Simon started to overpower Aaron and move the match into his advantage.
