Katie Meehan is one of the strongest female Muay Thai champions and formidable lady of the ring from Denver, Colorado. Kate Meehan has train under Master Mehrdad from St. Petersburg, Florida, and Kru Ray Cole from Tampa, Florida. Under management of MKM Knockout Promotions and guidance of Master Mehrdad she began her pro fight career in Shin Do Kumate in 2004. Fighting against tough female fighters such as Felice Herig, Jenypher Lanthier, Lynda Loyce, Claudia Vidaurri, Suzy Montero, and Mercedes Medina. With the effort of Master Mehrdad and MKM Knockout Promotions, she was recognized as the face to be the forefront for female fighters in North America. She is a lady well versed in the world of combat sports. As a female stand up fighter, she is a good representation of the art of Shin Do Kumate values and traditions.
